European bladdernut (Staphylea pinnata L.), this plant belongs to the family Staphyleaceae. It thrives in sunny places and wet soils. The fruits of the plant are green and edible and they taste like pistachios. It is a rare plant that is located in the province of Salerno in Cilento and the Lattari Mountains.
