Dolphin fish
Average size: 40 cm
Maximum size: 100 cm
The dolphin fish’s head has a very steep profile, with big jaws and small eyes. It is a pelagic fish, very fast and it usually lives alone away from the coast, feeding on small fish. They often look for floating debris, such as logs, wood boxes, etc. . It is sometimes caught with longline fishing even if there is no selective fishing for this kind of species.
