Dentex
Average size: 50 cm
Maximum size: 100 cm
The body is silvered blue-pink, patched with little black spots. The fins are pink. The dentex is a necto-benthic fish which lives in small shoals, but it can also be solitary especially when it is of big dimensions. It is caught with fixed nets, long and fishing line.
