Saddled bream

Average size: 14 cm

Maximum size: 30 cm

It has an ovoid and fuse-shaped silver body with a black spot near the tail. They eyes are big while the mouth is small, with the lower jaw slightly longer than the upper one. The saddled bream is a coastal fish which lives in shoals of medium size in sandy or rocky bottoms. It can also be found under 30-40 meters deep. It is caught with fish-traps and fishing rod.
