The Cretan brake fern (Pteris cretica), is a fern from Persia, India and Japan, and also from the Mediterranean. And it is present in areas of Sic (Sites of Community Interest) as the Vallone Porto di Positano.
Monti Lattari represent the limit beyond which the species becomes extremely rare.
The Cretan brake fern is an evergreen fern It Grows up to 45-75 cm in height. The Cretan fern is elegant and has a bright green color.
