Amberjack
Average size: 75 cm
Maximum size: 220 cm
The amberjack is a pelagic fish, very agile and fast. As a predator it gets near the coast during the hotter months looking for food. It feeds on different species such as anchovies, sand-smelts, grey mullets and garfish. During winter it lives over 50m of depth.
