Blue-spotted bream

Maximum size: 30 cm
The blue-spotted bream has a ovoid but still tapering body with small scales. The eyes are big, the head relatively small and the mouth on the average. Over the pectoral fin and behind the operculum, there is a clear black spot, in contrast with the rosy colour of the rest of the body. It is caught with fish-trap and longline fishing. The minimum allowed size for fishing is 12 cm.
