Painted comber

Maximum size: 20 cm
The body, as suggested by the name, has painted by many colours, with blue, red, pink, black and yellowish strips. The head and the caudal fin are red and pink. It is a benthic species, solitary, which lives in rocky deeps at a depth of 30 meters. It is often caught with fish-trap and sometimes with gill-nets.
