Sea bass
Average size: 40 cm
Maximum size: over 1 m
The Seabass has a tapering and robust body, covered in middle sized scales. The flanks are slightly compressed, the head and the mouth are big. This fish's operculum is serrated and spined. The back and the flanks are grey while the belly is white. The seebass is a coastal species, usually gregarious, and does not go under 30 meters deep.
