Uva Pepella (Vite cultivar Pepella), it is grown in very limited areas of the Amalfi Coast. The name probably derives from how the grapes are present in the cluster, where small and normal sized grapes are growing next to each other but on separated clusters.
Recent studies have confirmed the excellent quality of the wine production that this achievable with this grape and therefore it will be required to subscribe to the "National Register of vine varieties" and is therefore one of the "Recommended" grapes from the province of Salerno.
