White Bream
Average size: 25cm
Maximum size: 45 cm
The white bream has a compressed body, ovoid and covered in large scales. The mouth is big with especially developed foreteeth and three or four series of robust teeth behind. The body is grey-silver with a black spot on the caudal peduncle. It feeds on crustaceans, mollusks and it is very fond of urchin. Fishers catch it occasionally and the most used fishing technique are fish-trap and longline fishing. The minimum allowed size for fishing is 15 cm.
